For T-Mobile’s partnership with Watershed (a country music festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington), one of the assignments tasked to me was to develop a template style look and feel for way finding signage throughout the activation space, and surrounding signage touch points that took over larger areas of the space. I drew visual inspiration from the festival’s country roots and western aesthetic that felt natural within the scenic landscape of the Gorge.
The goal was to create signage that was both functional and immersive to help guide guests clearly and intuitively while reinforcing the relaxed, outdoor festival atmosphere. Through a cohesive visual language, the way finding system supported smooth navigation across the space and enhanced the overall guest experience at Watershed.
